"Renegade" is the name of a band formed by Tom Hamilton, Joey Kramer, Jimmy Crespo and two other musicians outside Aerosmith (Marge Raymond, who had worked with Jimmy Crespo before Aerosmith and Bobby Mayo, who was a guitarrist), in 1981, while Steven Tyler was recovering from a motorcicle accident. The other Aerosmith members were bored, so Joey Kramer started this project.
Renegade recorded an album with 7 tracks, while Steven was recovering. But the project was over when Aerosmith got back to the studio to record Rock In A Hard Place.
